Ball Joints
Starting mid year in 1985, Porsche introduced several model changes to the 944. One of these changes included the addition of aluminum front control arms. The new arms were stronger and suffered less flexing when compared to the early steel arms. The one drawback to these otherwise superior control arms was the integrated ball joints that were thought to be non-rebuildable. In the past a bad ball joint would mean replacing the entire control arm.
Rennbay is proud to offer the first complete ball joint rebuild kit for the Porsche 944 aluminum control arms. This kit replaces the entire ball joint assembly with superior components. The job is easy and requires no special tools. Detailed instructions as well as an installation video are available online. We also offer all customers knowledgeable installation support by phone or email as needed while installing the Porsche 944 ball joint kit.
